Who?????s really responsible for student loan debt?

Pocahontas Warren wants forgiveness of all student loan debt under some concept of entitlement I can’t even begin to accept as I paid off my entire student loan. I paid off mine and now she me, as all liberals want to sell for election, to pay off those who can’t honor a simple contract.

But who’s really to blame for this huge debt?

How about those education institutions who charged a fortune for a degree in the likes of “Native American history, art history, PE, world psychology etc. etc. etc!!!!

First, why give these students a pass to begin with at all? We’re they not of sound mind when they entered into the agreement? Who enticed or induced them to enter into such agreements?

Why not tax the universities who convinced them their education/degrees they would receive would have value? They got their money up front!!! Why not tax the endowments of these universities for promoting the benefits of what they are selling?

But why tax the blue collar taxpayer, who never went to college or anyone else who actually went out into the real world with a trade or skill and actually made a contribution to society?

This is just but one of the liberal platforms that make no sense!

I doubt anyone here will ever disagree!

I guess they always say liberals are more educated. Perhaps what they mean by that is people purchasing and attaining degrees that have no practical economic use is something liberals defend. After all, it's called a liberal arts education.

In fairness, it's easier to get a gambling debt forgiven than a student loan. I think the philosophy of seeking a career based on what you might enjoy doing as opposed to what is in demand has been a huge failure to my generation, at least for those of us dumb enough to believe this line of crap.

So very true but the entire basis of being liberal: You “chose” a degree that has no hope of providing you a living. You had know intellect to begin with but relied on the same liberal mantra in public education of convincing you that you would be so enlightened and knowledgeable. So convincing is this liberalism that they hooked your ignorance up w a financing source, to ensure they got paid, while you were feeling empowered!! But then when liberals find out they no job - they just become angry. They borrowed all this money to become enlightened, can’t get a job with their worthless degree, become angry when they have to pay back the money, begin to feel “entitled” cuz they paid for a degree, end up homeless and become an activist! That’s the liberal education model. Why do you think the unemployed liberal is so angry? And we have a plethora of them in our society and in social media. They have so much time, no job, little to contribute so they look for places on the web to spend their lives acting out their anger! We see it all the time!

I disagree on the gambling debt. Unlike getting a govt student loan, no casino would extend credit without a track record of competence, knowledge and wherewithal.

Liberals would have you believe that they should not have to pay off a car loan because after driving it for two years they changed their mind on style and price. Not to mention they will now complain that the dealership should never had made a profit on the sale to begin with!!
