Read a news story of a woman giving birth to twins - a year apart. Seems shortly before midnight on 31 December1999 the first one was born. The second one came a bit later - 5-10 minutes into 1 January 2020.
With the newer policy that boys will become Deacons the year they turn 12 the first kid will get to be a Deacon one full year before the other. The kids in the Story were one girl, one boy.(guessing from the names as the Story did not say) But, if two boys the Policy/revelation would apply. Maybe "The Plan" had God personally make sure it was one of each so the year of ordination would not be confusing?
At any rate - if both were boys would Big Nellie have to have a midnight lighted pen Seance to figure it out?
Still don't understand why L-d$,inc doesn't enforce the Bible instruction that a Deacon is to be the husband of One Wife...

Perhaps the whole one wife business was a little off putting to some.
Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by rulers as useful.

You are right on that one.
Maybe Teachers get two? Then so on to Joe, Brigham & the top dogs dozens.
Ask an active member about the scripture sometime and see the looks you get as their mind works hard for something more than "that's not pertinent to your salvation".

"Not pertinent to your salvation" is currently the prime argument against financial transparency.
