Does anyone else have a different source for the following experience from Brigham Young? All I can find is a source from ldsliving and a self-published book by Ogden Kraut.
Brigham Young reportedly enjoyed telling his family about an experience he had while serving in Liverpool; he interviewed one of the Nephites—an old man with a long, gray beard, who spoke encouragement to him. The stories of the Nephites tell about help and support in times of personal need.
That Ogden Kraut link was pretty good. I used to sooooo love all the 3 Nephites stories I could hear about. Oh the good ole days of rumor mongering and faith promoting stuff just out of sight of us, yet so real and so cool!
