If the Urim and Thummim are something other than Joseph Smith's seer stones, where did they come from and when did he receive them?

For example, we can depict a computer display or a TV to any XIX century audience as a coffer-size box with changing pictures on its side. That side is made out of semitransparent paper, and a laterna magica projects the pictures.
This description is far from reality, but totally understandable for an average XIX century gadgeteer to reproduce the device, which is not TV, but looks like one.


I want to create a set of urimthummimseerstonewhatever. It should not work or do anything makes sense, it should be place into an exhibition case.

Please Simon Belmont, list the pieces I should buy - or form out of wooden and/or plexiglas.

In Hungarian, we have the word "ezermester" - can be translated manifold.
"ezer" is thousand... I think this is unambigous

"mester" can be translated as
- governor
- maestro
- master
- virtuoso, virtuosi

For "ezermester", I have the translations:
ezermester --> fixer
ezermester --> gadgeteer
ezermester --> handyman, handymen
ezermester --> he can turn his hand to anything
ezermester --> jack of all trades
ezermester --> jack-of-all-trades
ezermester --> man-of-all-work

This is one of the dictionaries I'm using.
