Thanks. I think I was towards the tail end of a "waxing" period, while you were in a "waning" period.

Not to be confused with Gregory L. Smith of The Interpreter Foundation, I hope.

We are deeply disturbed to see Gregory Smith retweet a comment by School Board member Natalie
CIine decrying a Layton High School LDS seminary post that was welcoming and inclusive of LGBTQ
students. Smith’s now deleted account said “Time to get out the muskets,” in reference to Elder Jeffrey
Holland’s speech yesterday at Brigham Young University, endorsing a 200-year-old weapon of war as
a metaphor for “defending marriage as the union of a man and a woman:’
Words matter.
Last week a newlywed lesbian couple, Crystal Michelle Turner and Kylen Carrol Schulte, were brutally
murdered at a campsite in Moab. Five years ago, 49 LGBTQ people were murdered at the Pulse
Nightclub in Florida. Around the world, transgender women are regularly targeted by brutal and
horrific violence.
Reckless rhetoric often precedes acts of violence.
Natalie Cline’s ongoing obsession with LGBTQ youth is equally disturbing. She has been leading a
one-woman crusade against our community ever since she was elected to the Utah State Board of
Education. Her dangerous rhetoric continues to incite hysteria and moral panic among Utah parents.
Words matter. Especially when they come from leaders.
LGBTQ Utahns know that love is not violence. We know that love is courageous. We struggled
mightily, for many years, to secure our freedom to marry whom we love. We call on Church leaders to
abandon the inflammatory rhetoric of violence and warfare. We call on School Board members to
defend the dignity and liberty of LGBTQ students. We call on all Utahns to resist the temptations of
polarization that are tearing our state and our country apart.
The only way to live in harmony is to build bridges made of love, friendship, and mutual respect. We
cannot do so while endlessly invoking the rhetoric of warfare, which divides and harms our families
and communities.
Finally, to the Latter-day Saint students at Layton High who lovingly welcomed your LGBTQ
classmates to seminary, thank you for sharing your love, inclusion, and kindness. You are a bright light
in this moment of darkness. May we adults learn to better follow your example.

Quoted from the Equality statement above. That case is still unsolved, but the sheriff's department posted this:Last week a newlywed lesbian couple, Crystal Michelle Turner and Kylen Carrol Schulte, were brutally
murdered at a campsite in Moab.
So, double murderer at large, but 'no current danger.'A spokesman for the sheriff’s office told NBC News affiliate KSL-TV 5 in Salt Lake City that investigators do not believe the deaths were the result of a murder-suicide, and that both women were killed by a third person.
No information about the alleged gunman was released Thursday, though in its statement, the sheriff’s office said it believes there is “no current danger to the public.”

I saw that too and it struck me. Obviously, the lives of lesbians are not valued like the lives of regular people in the eyes of that son of a bitch bastard-sheriff.
Other lesbians living in Moab are in severe danger of being murdered. But the sheriff could hardly care less. For all we know he's the one that murdered the girls!
Think about that. OMFG! Let me get my crystal ball....

Holland is just so clueless. It's amazing anyone at all even bothers to listen to him.
