Im trying to think of when the Brethren last spoke out on something. I think it may have been to do with Covid vaccinations - when instead of trusting their Priesthood they hid away to protect themselves instead of visiting hospitals to offer blessings and healings.

Sure, they had to pivot 180 because it was the Biden Administration that managed the vaccine roll-out and availability, which led to the knee-jerk reaction that the vaccine must be "bad" because Biden "bad".

Anecdotally, my nephew is currently serving a Spanish-speaking mission in the US. His last email talked about how one of his recent converts was deported shortly after their baptism. Church meetings have been pretty bare bones because everyone is too afraid to go to church, and getting non-members to talk to the missionaries is pretty difficult because of the fear.

There shall none come into this land save they shall be brought by the hand of the Lord.

Brought to this land by the hand of the Lord, and removed from this land by the hand of an anti-Christ and his followers. How many will fail to hear the gospel of Christ because of the cult of Trump?
