If you'req looking for a board that can provide you with extremely deep and wide knowledge in and around all things Mormonism - fascinating insights in and around all things Mormonism - broad and detailed answers concerning historical things relating to Mormonism - and valuable personal experiences concerning the various paths that can be taken (and have been taken) to remain in the fold of Mormonism or the various paths that can be taken (and have been taken) out of Mormonism - Then I would say that you're certainly in the right place.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy your time here - you might need to navigate around some obstacles and you might be forced to read some things that you would have preferred not reading, but it is my opinion that these inconveniences/distractions are a very small price to pay in order to receive the extraordinary amount of valuable information/knowledge/perspectives that can be found littered all over this community.
Fair enough and thanks for the welcome. I can tolerate some crudeness yeah, just not at anyone’s expense, particularly women and other marginalized groups.
I definitely am curious about the juxtaposition of prior apologetics and how they’ve adapted to a more irreligious, and (theoretically) critical counterforce of scholars and scholarship.
They’ve even started to use elements of these critical theories themselves when it suits them, constructivism in particular.
If I can ask: When you said you're a progressive Mormon (I think you said you were?) what does that mean, exactly? Are you a member of the LDS church? Do you consider yourself a Mormon? (If you would rather not answer, for whatever reason, please feel free to not answer. No worries)

I am not. I consider myself a post-member though I have respect for progressive members.
Someone asked me here what ‘progmo’ meant but I wouldn’t count myself as one.
I was excommunicated on account of the infamous 2015 policy. Had a boyfriend but wasn’t living with him, and wasn’t exactly penitent.
I want to tell you what I found to be so impressive about this group of people when I first came to the board, many moons ago: That being their complete willingness to share with anyone and their patience that they displayed when engaging folks who knew so little (That was me)
I remember when Ceeboo first got here and someone taught him how to post a .gif file. They created a monster for few weeks.
