It’s the hurried placement of short one liners with no real substance to other posters right after my posts over and over again that I find highly suspect. I think there is a method behind her madness as the saying goes. It’s rather obvious if you look at her track record. I don’t think it’s coincidence. I think she would agree if pressed…but maybe not.

Thanks, drumdude. I found Connie Willis' book deeply engaging, probably more serious than most of her other Sci fi, but as PG noted, not overwhelmingly so. I've followed her works for decades, after first noting her short stories. She has a captivating and decidedly screwball sense of humor, which I thoroughly enjoy. Many of her characters give me a feel like Dorothy Sayers' character Harriet Vane. Add in her Sci fi specialty of the sociological impact of time travel and humor that bubbles over incessantly and I was hooked. I would recommend her books and short stories without reservation.

It's interesting but fairly predictable that an online troll interprets other people's responses as being all about him. After all, that's why a troll posts--to disrupt, provoke and derail. Projecting his strategy on others is par for the course. Additionally, this mental gymnast is on shaky ground arguing people should look at track records. His fibbing and trolling track record is abysmal.
