Impure food vs impure thoughts

Rich american tourists (sorry...) are sitting in a restaurant in Barcelona. One of them discover something weird rotundity at the next table.
He calls the waiter:
- Does that on that plate is THAT ... ?
- Yes Sir, as we are in the neighbourhood the arena, that is THAT.
- We want ...
- We are very sorry, Sir. There is a long reservation list, should I book You to next year october 12th?

Next year october 12th comes, the group is getting the meal.
On the plate are something cherry-sized wrinkled near-spherical ... something more weird.
- Waiter! WAITER!! What is this?
- We are very very sorry, Sir. Today the bull was the winner.

I can't really think of a more disgusting thing to eat than kidney, given its function. I'm not quite sure how people eat snails, either.

Mayo, on the other hand, is awesome.

There was a french Elder in my district this one time, who found some really huge snails on the sidewalk one day when it rained. He decided to see if they were edible, so he picked one up and took it back to the pad. He made a mayonaise sauce and boiled the snail, put the sauce on it, and popped it in his mouth. After chewing it a bit he ran to the sink and threw up hard. He never tried that again.

I tried Lutefisk once for the experience. Will never try it again. What were the Norwegians thinking in keeping that recipe alive?
