I feel differently on that count.
You think differently, no argument there, do you feel differently? I'm not convinced you
feel the Book of Mormon is such a spectacular book, given your neglect of reading it a half hour a day. If I believed a book was the most correct on the face of the earth I would read it 1/2 a day without someone needing to tell me to do it.
I admit I'm speculating somewhat on your motives. I take into account what you say, but I also think about the believers in my life. In my mind, there's a big difference between feeling like you're supposed to feel the Book of Mormon is the most correct book on the face of the earth, and actually feeling like the Book of Mormon is the most correct book on the face of the earth. A lot of Mormons I knew, even myself when I was active, felt guilty at times for not reading it. A lot of people feel guilty, then with all their might commit themselves to reading, and it all falls apart three days later. They know they're
supposed to feel over the moon about the Book of Mormon, but they just don't feel that way. Feeling like you're supposed to feel a certain way, and saying you feel that way when you don't, is different than actually feeling a certain way and behavior is consistent with the reported feelings.
