Shulem, what if no Mormons ever wish to face your scholarship because it overwhelms them? Why spend their time making lame excuses because you will shoot down every one of them with evidence?
Sounds familiar, a typical behavior of exmormons who don’t want to face things, too.

A culture of people with heads in the sand.

Not unlike people across the world, but with a Mormon twist that has its own particular idiosyncrasies.

Expanding your John Dehlin derangement to spam Shulem's thread is disrespectful.

Perhaps nobody really cares anyway. I finished watching the Mormonism Live episode featuring Metcalfe explain the Mosiah Priority and I'm convinced he is clueless about the 11-15-24 parallel. The reason I came to this conclusion is because he mentioned three (3) times that Mormon got the plates when he was 20 years old, and sadly, nobody corrected him. What the hell?

1) Mormon is told that when he reaches about the age of 20
2) got the plates when he was 20 years old
3) plates when you're 20

So, that is that. Basically, it's just me and Bradley.

What will be the effect of Don Bradley remaining incommunicado from further discussion? Would the wisest course of action for LDS apologists be to steer clear of Shulem lest their deceptions be exposed?

Moksha,

It appears the wheels are now turning! My guess is this thread here at Discuss Mormonism *is* making its rounds in apologetic circles and Don is lying low for the moment. Bradley is hiding but he will make an appearance all in good time and play his cards. But you know Shulem, I have all the high cards!

Edit: Deletion of full quote of opening post to save space.
Omg…. This is the best! Psychology for the win!

Have any of you looked at the Netflix documentary “Ancient Apocalypse — The Americas?”

Rosebud,

That was thoughtful and considerate to go back and edit your post above for the purpose of saving space and removing unnecessary clutter. I really appreciate that.

Thank you

Congratulations, Shulem, on revealing so much original information and fresh conclusions regarding both the Book of Mormon and the Book of Abraham. Clearly, your tenacity has paid off.

He will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost

Post by Shulem »

Don,

Merry Smithmas! I was wondering...

Has the Holy Ghost® testified to you that the 11-15-24 parallels are verily true insomuch as the original author (Mormon) living some 1,700 years ago was destined to imitate the futuristic author (Smith) by divine design?

Please, signify if this was revealed by your Holy Spirit® or is it just your opinion.

[ ] Behold the Spirit® testified to me
[ ] It's just my opinion

Furthermore, please note whether you accept or reject Smith's 24-24-24 birthday gifts proposed in this thread as miraculous synchronicities or mere coincidences.

[ ] Synchronicities
[ ] Coincidences

Thanks! And have a great day.

I will go out on a limb and suggest that John M. Butler's article about prophet Mormon being a type and sign of Joseph Smith was suppressed by Mormon apologists such as Dan Peterson and others of an ill-designed apologetic ilk. Surely, Butler was run out of town and his article was thrown into an abys of obscurity where nobody dare comment on its validity or at minimum, possibility.

Will Bradley come to the rescue and defend Butler? Will his apologetic friends stand by him?

No, I do not think so. I see dark clouds on the horizon and much confusion for anyone who attempts to take this subject on.
