Active missionaries in a zoom call with Boylan and Anderson

It’s an odd and slightly jarring sight, having grown up in the church when missionaries weren’t even allowed to call home.

Interesting, disturbing and hilarious! Is this that secret but not sacred group called the Cavalry whose members must promise not to disclose to anyone, members and non-members (which would include Mission Presidents) that they are a member of the group?

How can the missionaries be benefiting from spending over 2 hours listening to Robert Boylan? If I was the mission president and found out about this, I would be livid. At least Mike Parker didn't pop into the Zoom meeting wearing blackface and pretending to be an apologist named Richard Nygren.

I'm sure the missionaries get a tremendous sense of camaraderie from watching their YouTube heroes “owning the protest-ards” in these debates. Debates with evangelicals who don’t know what “sola scriptura” means.

It’s no wonder James White won’t bother with the Borland Anderson clown show.

Any theories as to why he has the comments turned off?

He does that for every video. I guess he can’t handle criticism, similar to how DCP bans it on his blog and the faithful LDS subreddit bans anyone who has ever posted on exmormon.

Being a flake has become the norm, where no public criticism is permitted or allowed.
