Lol....take a wild ass guess, but your comment is a perfect example of how when one party has a monopoly of a entity, in this case this forum being ultra liberal progressive , just how bias it can be. Likewise PBS having a huge tax payer funded endowment had a real bias. Consistency is thrown in the waste basket, and noted.
Doesn't change the board rules, and the board rules were generated by someone who is most definitely not an "ultra liberal progressive": Dr. Shades.

An organization vilified by rightwing media lacks Republican - identifying editors? I'm shocked.

There was a response from NPR shortly after Uri Berliner's op-ed appeared in April 2024:

https://www.npr.org/2024/04/09/12437557 ... -diversity
Thanks for sharing something actually useful, Brent. As always.

Edit:

It seems overall the debate is about the lack of diversity of political views affecting journalistic choice around reporting both the types of stories as well as how certain stories get reported on. On its face it's a fair conversation every newsroom should ask itself. So why the public political football game?

Perhaps Ceeboo would concentrate on the output from this group of crazed radical libtards, and explain what makes it faulty, unAmerican and/or dangerous.

With examples, of course.
NPR is pretty straitlaced and fair. I never understood the Republican (now MAGA) complaint. It is one of those things that robs the MAGA Party of credibility. When they embrace garbage propagnda-"journalism" and then attack NPR, they look like absolute loonies.
I tend to agree. Considering the literally tens of thousands of lies that have demonstrably come from Trump and his MAGA administration, nothing tends to enhance my confidence in a news story more than Trump and his minions labeling it as "disinformation." This is particularly true of science-based stories on environment, pollution, health and climate change issues that Trump and conservatives dismiss as "fake news."
No precept or claim is more suspect or more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

Yeah, MAGA is obviously a cult. According to the cult, only cult leaders and cult sources are true.

NPR deals in facts, which is MAGA poison. The GOP base is so acclimated to an environment of BS, facts sound like "liberal bias." It been that way for a long time now.
Religion is for people whose existential fear is greater than their common sense.

The god idea is popular with desperate people.

As has been often and correctly said: "reality has a strong liberal bias."
