And, to be even more pointed, the MAGA Party is not really interested in or served well by the facts, so journalism of a legitimate and responsible kind is not going to be as attractive as working for a MAGA propaganda outfit.
Perhaps Ceeboo would concentrate on the output from this group of crazed radical libtards, and explain what makes it faulty, unAmerican and/or dangerous.
One thing I have to say about NPR is that they have some of the best and most informative programs on the planet. I especially enjoy their science and world news programs.
No precept or claim is more suspect or more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.
The question is: why? The answer may be complicated. There are probably more Democrats than MAGA people in journalism, but then it is also the case that Republicans have been running down NPR for a long time. That likely impacts the desire of MAGA Party people to try out for a job there. And, to be even more pointed, the MAGA Party is not really interested in or served well by the facts, so journalism of a legitimate and responsible kind is not going to be as attractive as working for a MAGA propaganda outfit.
I imagine this is correct.
I can also imagine a job interview where the prospective MAGA "journalist" asks if he gets to make up stories and NPR says, yeah, we'll be in touch.
Religion is for people whose existential fear is greater than their common sense.
The taxpayer-funded budget of VOA is around half of the amount of what the government sends PBS’s way, so we just need to double up on VOA, and we’ll have a budgetary parity that would theoretically satisfy MAGA, but they’ll still complain. Because they’re insufferable snowflakes.
Bonus discussion point for Dr. Exiled: the tentacles of our worldwide persuasion campaigns are now strictly confined to disseminating right-wing propaganda, Trumpian chest-thumping and stupid, juvenile lies. Take that, Big Bird!

NPR is a real treasure. I hardly listen to the radio anymore, but when I do I am tuning in to NPR.

With examples, of course.
NPR is pretty straitlaced and fair. I never understood the Republican (now MAGA) complaint. It is one of those things that robs the MAGA Party of credibility. When they embrace garbage propagnda-"journalism" and then attack NPR, they look like absolute loonies.

Lol....take a wild ass guess, but your comment is a perfect example of how when one party has a monopoly of a entity, in this case this forum being ultra liberal progressive , just how bias it can be. Likewise PBS having a huge tax payer funded endowment had a real bias. Consistency is thrown in the waste basket, and noted.
