And it's important, for team politics sake, that the guy isn't left wing either ....

Again, how about we leave the right are fascists and the left are communists silly paradigm the donor class keeps foisting on us?

We are being played by all this hyperbolic rhetoric.
I mean, if he isn't, then he isn't. It is not personally important to me. As I have long said, I oppose extremism. I see extremism as the problem. So, yes, I agree that the hyperbolic rhetoric is a problem. But, then, does that really change the fact that there is an authoritarian takeover of the country and the president is regularly violating the Constitution and the law?

I mean, you can say that my pointing out that fact is "hyperbolic rhetoric," except that it is a factual account of what is actually happening. It is not at all the same as saying something like, "Hillary Clinton is the head of a child trafficking ring that mines adrenochrome from children," which is beyond hyperbolic to the point of being absolute lunacy. So, I guess I am uncertain what you expect to see from everyone who is concerned about things like National Guard units being deployed in American cities and citizens being sent to gulags in foreign countries.

Is it incumbent on those of us who are troubled by these facts to ignore them because they are outrageous, in your opinion?

Don't ignore anything, but how about looking at how manipulation occurs and whether or not it is occurring here. Look at what the various intelligence agencies and their corporate masters are doing and what motivates them and how movements are shut down as soon as they gain traction if they cannot be compromised. This has been going on for millennia.

Here is what the BBC is reporting about his left leanings, but it shouldn't matter:

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cp8wl2y66p9o

Here is what the Utah governor says about the guy and his transitioning roommate, but it shouldn't matter either:

https://news.sky.com/story/charlie-kirk ... r-13431020

Likewise it shouldn't matter if he identified with someone like you who is a Mormon but anti-Trump. Who cares about what this nut or that crazy person believes, especially the various nutjobs like the guy that killed the Ukrainian recently? It's a crime first and foremost, but both parties want to overdo it for politics sake and make it more than it really is. I think that is really the issue - that of how our politics is about creating division and is inching toward civil war. Divide and rule.

Sure, Trump is overdoing it with the militias and the israel first anti free speech legislation he wants. Criticism of that country and what it is doing is not hate speech, but try telling that to a MAGA supporter and you may be asked to leave their home as I was close to having happen to me. The guy has been too obvious in his caving to whatever israel wants as far as foreign policy. He is a bull in a china shop that says too much about what the elites are up to when careful speech is in order as the various puppet politicians do. However, I don't think you realize that there has been a fascist take over since at least the Kennedy administration. Fascism is government and business getting together to run the country and I guess that has always been how it is and so calling Trump a fascist seems empty when we've been under this type of reality for some time. I also don't think you realize how both parties are complicit in what matters most to donor class pocket books, like forever wars and endless debt to cover them. Biden, Obama, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Reagan - were great for their donors and the ever increasing gap between the 1% and the rest of us.
Myth is misused by the powerful to subjugate the masses all too often.

That article seems behind the curve on a lot of things.

Yes, that could be. Cox has also been very eager to come up with an explanation that would be more useful to MAGA and the reputation of his LDS constituents in that world. He made that clear when he said that he had been praying that it would be an outsider or an immigrant. What a grotesque sentiment.

That’s fine, Exile, had not every prominent MAGA made it very clear that they lusted for any excuse to use Kirk’s death to harm their political opponents, so maybe your high minded position is a little outdated. It’s not like people on the left need to be told not to use right-wing nuts as an excuse for a power grab. There have been plenty of right-wing nuts committing terrible crimes—the government has shown the statistical majority—but somehow their crimes are explained in ways that minimize their political motives. Meanwhile, Trump and his folk do not need ANY evidence to blame the Democrats. So, perhaps you can get why people are nervous about what Trump is prepared to do?

There has been very little agitation among leading Democrats for making this a MAGA crime. I am not sure what your sermon is about exactly.

Sure, Trump is overdoing it with the militias and the israel first anti free speech legislation he wants.
You are one weird dude.
