Another antifa has been arrested!

https://www.cnn.com/2021/01/23/politics ... index.html
The Justice Department revealed new charges against a Texas man who allegedly participated in the Capitol attack and posted online death threats against Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and a US Capitol Police officer.

Garret Miller of Texas faces five criminal charges stemming from the Capitol insurrection, including trespassing offenses and making death threats. Miller allegedly tweeted, "assassinate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez," according to court documents.

He also said the police officer who fatally shot a Trump supporter during the attack "deserves to die" and won't "survive long" because it's "huntin[g] season.

Prosecutors said in newly released court documents that Miller posted extensively on social media before and during the attack, saying a "civil war could start" and "next time we bring the guns."
If there’s one thing antifa is known for, it’s 100% all about hating Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Shoot, son, that's just textbook deep cover. Or would be, if the Powers That Be would let us teach it in schools.

Who taught your family to sing?
To start off with, my father was very musical. He had a marvelous baritone voice, he played violin, mandolin, piano, accordion, harmonica, organ, guitar, musical saw, etc. You could give him a musical instrument he'd never touched before and leave him alone with it for a couple of hours, and he would teach himself how to play it. He even built his own violins, one of which won second place in tonal quality at a national violin makers' convention many years ago in Arizona.

We all loved to sing together in perfect harmony, including my mother. In addition, my Sister took voice lessons from a truly remarkable voice teacher when she was a high school student, won an all Northern California voice competition and a full scholarship to study voice at San Jose State, but dropped out after her first year to get married. Unfortunately, as I understand it, the only classes she excelled in at San Jose State, were her music classes, including Piano.

My brother plays piano, clarinet, organ, saxophone and has recently taken up cello. He was in the clarinet section of the Beethoven Symphony #9 performance that I linked you to, as well as all The Messiah performances I participated in, and also played with the Sierra Nevada Winds orchestra for many years. Some of their performances can be found on YouTube. He is also a professional piano technician like my father was.

I am probably the least musically talented of my siblings (mostly because I didn't work hard enough at it), but have an excellent ear for pitch and easily learn my parts. I can't honestly claim to have a solo quality voice like my Sister and Father, but I have a wide vocal range and blend in well when singing with a group.

Please excuse me for boring you to tears with all that about my family, but you did ask, so blame yourself! ;)
Bore me to tears are you kidding? I would rather read a post like yours above than any other kind on this whole entire board! People's stories are the best thing ever! What an amazing gifted family you come from! All I know is that I have some of the best and the brightest, most talented, well educated, and well informed e-friends on the planet and no blessed idea why some of you are friends with me but it is humbling.

While I won't say where you are positioned in the group, I am pretty darn sure I picked you out and last night all I could think of was how am I going to get out there to see my dear friend Gunnar. This has to happen and I believe it will happen!

Congratulations, the Russian menace is finally out of the White House. It was nip and tuck there for a while, but it finally came to fruition. Perhaps we can have a rational conversation now? Realistically, how many do you think support or believe in the QAnon nonsense? I know the higher the number, the better the position for those who support the mainstream media narrative. It is like othering flatearthers and probably fun in a certain sense. That's how politics works. However, is it really rational to label all Trump supporters with the Q label or terrorist label? If there is a desire to bring the country together, does ridicule help or hinder? Should the hand of friendship be extended? How should that be done assuming you want to do so?
Hi, Dr. E -

I don’t think that all Trump supporters are QAnon acolytes. But it’s fair to say that all QAnon acolytes are supporters of Trump, and there are a fair number of these folks, as witnessed from message boards like the one referenced, past Trump rallies, and the Red Rebellion of a few weeks ago.

Given that we watched an event in real time today that puts the lie to the past two year’s ramblings of ‘Q’, yet these believers simply shrug off their own witness of that reality to preferentially burrow deeper into their constructed fantasy, what is the method that you’d suggest we use to engage these folks on the same plane of rationality, in a friendly manner?
I think we need to talk to them somehow. I don't want a civil war and they have a lot of guns. Anyway, most republicans I know are pretty rational, just tricked into thinking that all democrats are communists or socialists, but pretty tame nonetheless.
Myth is misused by the powerful to subjugate the masses all too often.

There were a lot of potions in mine, but they were all of sugar variety.
What about small vials of olive oil infused with the Holy Ghost?

Thanks for your kind words, but from what I have gathered about you from your posts over the last decade, you are probably at least as talented, well informed, and probably better educated (at least formally) than I in some, perhaps most ways. To my shame and regret, I never even completed College; most of what I have learned about science, history, government, politics, sociology, etc. was learned through independent reading and study. I especially admire your work you described in the education of children. IMHO there is no greater calling than that!

When Senator Schumer accidentally said erection rather than insurrection, I think he was forgetting about the essential nature of Trumpists. Even though they are pricks, they are much more into sedition.

Another antifa was rolled up because he couldn’t stop shouting “Trump 2020”:

https://edition.cnn.com/2021/01/25/poli ... index.html
In an affidavit filed in federal court, a special agent with the US Capitol Police says the man, John Lolos, was identified by a Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority police officer after Lolos was kicked off a Delta flight the afternoon of January 8 at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. The crew had decided to turn the plane around while it was taxiing, according to the agent, because Lolos was causing a disturbance by "continuously yelling 'Trump 2020!'"

Yet another antifa deep cover is exposed as an FBI informant!

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/202 ... -informant

In typical lying Conservative, er, Liberal commie socialist fashion the deep state antifa actor said:
Tarrio, in an interview with Reuters on Tuesday, denied working undercover or cooperating in cases against others. “I don’t know any of this,’” he said, when asked about the transcript. “I don’t recall any of this.”
As a reminder Tarrio is the National Chairman of the Proud Boys.
