It should be noted that DCP has sworn off partisan politics by engaging in... partisan politics! I won’t link to his hate blog so you’ll have to google it in order to find it, but he’s been busy artfully setting Mormons against Mormons these days. I suppose when he doesn’t have someone to fight, he just invents a new thing to quibble over, and then sits back and lets his readers do the rest. It must be good fun for him.

I have to agree with Dr. Peterson on several points: It was boorish of those Trump cultists to hassle Mitt Romney at the Salt Lake City Airport, and Donald Trump is a terrible person who has mesmerized the majority of Utah Mormons into thinking he is their new messiah. Much like Dr. Peterson, I too want to slap them around or apply increasing levels of electric jolts until they snap out of it. It is so cruel just to leave them as hopeless zombies. Interesting how we share such similar thought processes. Perhaps that is due to singing the same primary songs. Wonder if we share the same liking for extra-strong ginger beer?

A couple of more observations on that thread: It contains information that would be interesting to Dr. Scratch regarding the three crazed-donors, and Sic et Non is a blog full of people who are politically much like our own Ajax and Subgenius.

On the bright side: I remind you that President Nelson has consistently prophetically professed that the Lord is at the helm for the destiny of this nation. It is the base for carrying the Gospel to the world. The Lord will not let this national fail.

There's a question about Sam's thinking that The Lord is an American or is American biased - does Sam think the Lord only favours America in regard of nations failing? That thinking in and of itself is a sign of religious racism.

There's also the question, now, about what constitutes a nation failing...a mob rioting through the seat of government might be an indicator that all is not well in American Zion (Nelson's warm fuzzies notwithstanding).

That blind and obstinate intransigence of thinking is why progress doesn't happen. I'd imagine American politics (and family relationships) would be much better off without such stubbornly belligerent and thoughtless public posturing. His fellow Republicans just marched through the seat of government carrying the Confederate Flag...

You didn't know that God loves the U.S.A. and his totally red, white, and blue church over all others? America is where the chosen ones reside and surely American culture, Utah style, will eventually dominate like a stone cut from the mountain .....

It seems that two extremely ardent devotees of Mr. Donald J. Trump died almost simultaneously. They had known each other in mortality — perhaps they had attended Trump rallies together, without masks? — and as they approached the pearly gates, they had discussed what they wanted to say.
