I’m glad they did. If the Right thinks they’re going to win a civil war they’ll have most of the population, most states, and the federal armed forces against them. It wouldn’t go well for anyone, but the delusion they’re under that they’d wage a successful civil conflict is over with that statement.

Have any of these Congresscritters or pundits who are chastising Democrats come right out and told their constituents/audiences the truth about the election? Or are they trying to fire up "the base" even more in advance of the inauguration?

Am I missing something or aren't they riding the middle line? I really don't think any have vocally backed the election results very forcefully. Of course, they've got a big problem here. If I'm a Republican, and suddenly my representatives are swearing by the integrity of the election and admitting defeat, I've got to ask, what changed? Were you lying before? Why are you compromising your standards now? How can they forcefully back the election now, and look credible to their base?

But, it might be worth starting with a clean slate and apologizing, and telling the truth now? From what I've read, the Republican solution to the problem is to carry guns themselves into the capitol. lol.

As I understand it, Pelosi talked to the military about somehow keeping Trump away from access to military action, and the answer seemed to be- we are obligated to obey orders, it's YOUR job to get him out of office if he's incapable. I wonder if that's why this particular word was included:

If Trump got ahold of Perfume's recording equipment he could change his autotune and perhaps raise his pitch three octaves. If Mars attacked, he could sing "I am calling you-oo-oo-oo". That would only be to save his own skin, after all, Trump is Trump. Afterward, Trump could deny he summoned the Martians for Inauguration Day.
