Whats the difference between a chapel and internet Mormon?

An internet Mormon misrepresents logical fallacies while a chapel Mormon does not know what logic is.

What is up with the constant barage of insults against Mormons? Isn't the Telestial forum for that purpose?

And leave that 15 pound weakling warm fuzzy testimonkey at home. We have an 800 LBS angry gorilla named Truth that will mop the floor with that bug eyed tree monkey that you affectionately refer to as "my testimony".

Considering the name of this site is Mormon Discussions, I think this place would be shooting itself in the foot if it became so distasteful as to drive all the Mormons away. On the other hand, there is a need for LDS opponents to express their nastier thoughts as well. That is why I think the idea of having some separation of content is a good one. What is needed at times is some moderation to separate them into the appropriate categories. As Juliann has rightly pointed out, the popularity of boards can wane if a laissez-faire to moderation is used.

Not necessarily. The Telestial Forum is for personal attacks against specific individuals, whereas non-personal, generalized criticism of organizations or thought processes is FAIR game here.
