Typical Peter Priesthood pontification, Coggins.

Stand on your soapbox and tout your supposed spiritual and intellectual superiority over everyone else here.

Loran:

My goodness. Aren't we touchy about spiritual and intellectual attributes (of lack of them) today. Have you considered getting in touch with (or giving a good spanking) to your inner child?

Dude, you have no idea what dark humor is. You also have no compassion for the pain of others who are not of your faith and doing exactly what you think they should be doing according to the white octegenarians you worship in SLC.

Loran:

Thanks for letting your racism shine through the otherwise muddy waters you usually send downstream. And don't try to kid me about "compassion" and "the pain of others" GIMR. You're a pious fraud and everyone here who's not already in your choir knows it.

If I were you, I'd stop trying to insinuate that people here have no spiritual life. We do, we just laugh at you and your overtly public attempt to put yours up as better than ours.

Loran:

1. I've never insinuated any such thing.

2. Judging from the content and tone of probably 90% of the posts one can read here, at ZLMB, or at other forums by and for ex-Mormons, the spiritual life of the average Apricot pit is at a higher level than most here.

When folks ask me to go to church with them, I ask them if they feel their lives are products of the preaching there. You being a rabid, fundie TBM, I'd never even have to ask the question, even if I had never been Mormon. You are a product of the preaching there, and the answer would always be no.

Loran:

The above is unintelliable, emotion driven bigotry (leaving aside the problem you have with people who don't share your skin coloration). I take back what I said above about your inner child. They should be seen and not heard.

What, have you been having lunch with Wade lately? Um, look. Your need to have the one true everything doesn't give you the right to psychoanalyze people. You don't know me. And you don't give a damn about me. Or my journey. So don't make such statements. You're just sneering at people for a bit of mentally orgasmic fun on here.

You were looking for a chance to call me racist, in order to cover up your church's behavior, weren't you, little roach?

But you meant that all in jest, right?

Gotten your "release" yet? Or are you still building up to it?

Actually, no it's not. You can't be an asshole telling us that your beliefs are true, and that you've been so positively influenced by it. It doesn't work that way.

Loran:

You really need to take a course on anger management and how to deal with people in a civil, mature, and respectful manner. I think the Tawana Brawly Finishing School For Girls has a really good program along those lines.

Actually, I'm just commenting upon what appears to be a deep, inherant psychological attribute of yours.

Loran:

You're not one given to an understanding of the nuances, even when barbed, of satire are you? The very fact that you can't understand the serious LDS position on how one can know of the Church's truth (and the humility this necessitates) and the vehement denial of and refusal of many ex-Mormons to even approach that concept, indicates something of what lies at the core of your hatred and bigotry toward the Church (and so many of its "white" members).

Loran:

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to eqate the spiritual lives of these people with that of an Apricot pit. An Apricot pit is much too large to use as an analogy here. Actually, I think the spiritual life of an amoeba, even if severely limited by its watery medium, is a much closer fit.

Great example of a proposition that would fit very well into a circular argument. Also a great example of just who the a^%$#&e is.

Supposed spirituality hits the mark with Loran. Perhaps he feels like his pontification on these boards is some sort of penance for the short comings relating to the measure of his Mormon'ness

And here I thought you were commenting on his stature. Or the length of his feet. Or something similiar.

Nevermind. With Coggins, you get what you pay for, and I for one am willing to double the paycheck he receives from MDB. Nuthin' times two is still nuthin'.
