If Joseph Smith was guilty of Adultery, the Spirit of God would have left him. It did not.

Hi Gaz,

Maybe Joseph Smith was really guilty was adultery, and maybe the Spirit of God really did leave him.

What year was the suposed adultery? 1838? What doctrines were espoused from that time forward?

Lets go beyond that, what of those that followed the teachings? What doctrines came from them? What signs of the spirit followed?

Follow the evidence, not the rumors.

I could give you the date but the point is that it does not matter. It happened, theres no getting around it with weaseling. Numerous individuals attested to smoith being ennamored with women other than his wife. Its his MO to follow through with his libido. This is documented thoroughly. How is this relevant to charges of sexual misconduct? It either happened or not. your "doctrine" is irrelevant to the discussion.

I am doing this more so than you are. The majority opinion is that Joseph Smith was a bigamist. Its a fact that numerous individuals attested to this fact, many prominent and strong members of josephs sect.

That can't be true...why if it were true then my worldview would come crashing down and id be forced to give up the main ego booster shot I get from thinking im right!
