Hey, Beastie, thanks for that. Quite interesting, to be sure.

Does anyone know where one can get a copy of Stephen's, "Incidents of Travel..."? It's obviously quite old. If anyone knows where it can be found on the net, if at all, please, I would appreciate a heads up.

The Google god has recognized a need for it.

Given the current atmosphere around here, I'm sure I'll be called a moron and a liar, but no substantive responses will be forthcoming.

It's been a while since I've been called that. Kind of makes me nostalgic for the old MAD board. :-)

Agreed. When you don't have facts to back you up, all that is left is name calling. I find it interesting that you posted this years ago and no responses at all from any of the apologists. I guess it's better to ignore and hope it fades away fast. LOL

I don't know how one is supposed to respond. The claims Clark made clearly don't hold up to scrutiny.

I guess that is why no apologists tried to come to his rescue. Better to ignore and hope it goes away. Kinda reminds me of the church's strategy with the priesthood ban and polygamy.
