Something involving Reublicans and Demicrats no doubt.

Who said "pouplist movement"? Gadianton said "pooplist movement"--not "pouplist movement." I certainly agree with the "poop" part. I imagine it is something akin to a bowel movement.

The pooplist movement is simply the dimwits in this country who all agree with their orange idiot that we should lock everyone up on his shitlist. They don't say "shitlist" because they like to pretend piety, so they use "pooplist" instead.

The rule of thumb with Trump fans is to assume they're morons. If an idea is senseless, they're all for it.

It seems counterintuitive, but it appears ajax is even dumber now than before Trump. That's what happens when you begin worshipping someone with the acuity of a turnip.
Religion is for people whose existential fear is greater than their common sense.

The god idea is popular with desperate people.

To give you an idea of populism on the right we can compare Donald Trump to other Republicans beholden to super PAC money to launch their campaigns. As an example, although illegal immigration hurts a majority of working class Americans it lines the pockets of the financial elites who want the cheap labor, especially when they can pass off the costs of their healthcare, education, and other social services upon the taxpayer. While sending factories to China lowers American worker wages and job prospects it also benefits the wealthy who need this cheap labor to compete. The wealthy are not a majority or popular but they successfully silenced these topics in the Republican party against the best interests of the majority of voters because without their money and donations there would have been no Republican presidential campaign. Because he wasn't bound to their money, Donald Trump was able to challenge this and trounced the establishment Republican party in the primary of 2016.

Democrats gain popularity by writing people checks for doing nothing, except maybe having more children and maintaining a low income on paper. These handouts are not popular amongst those in the working class (income above $100k) as opposed to the welfare class since the working class only qualifies to fund these programs through their taxes rather than collect upon them. But free money has been a very popular movement amongst the welfare class in the Democrat party for a long time and it has won them many elections.

1. Donald Trump won the 2016 GOP Primary mainly due to name recognition and getting most of the media coverage.

2. Once Trump became president, he had a Republican control House and Senate. But they did nothing in asylum reform and updating the immigration system. The biggest thing Republicans passed through Congress during that time was tax cuts for corporations, which was signed into law by Trump.

3. Trump did issue the remain in Mexico policy, and he declared a national emergency to take money from the military to build his damn border wall. But Trump taking money from the military to build his border wall was unconstitutional. The Constitution exclusively gives the Legislative Branch the power of the purse. Link

4. Once Biden became president, he ended Trump's remain in Mexico policy and Trump's unconstitutional national emergency. While the remain in Mexico policy likely helped with slowing down migration from Central America, that damn border wall did basically nothing to help. Trump's border wall has been harmful to the environment around it. Link

Really? Assuming you are talking household income, it could appear that only about a third of US households would count as 'working class'. The median family income in 2020 was $68,400.00.

I meant those who are qualifying for the $2 trillion in free money mentioned in the original post. This is the direction of the redistribution of income as well as between red (working states) and blue (shutdown states).

Gaetz: Coronavirus Stimulus a ‘Trojan Horse for Socialism’
Tuesday on FBN’s “Mornings with Maria,” Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Florida) derided the $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package, touted by the Biden White House, and called it a “Trojan Horse” for socialism.

The Florida Republican lawmaker speculated inflation resulting from the massive government spending could be on the way.

“It is a Trojan Horse for socialism,” he said. It is everything Democrats have wanted wrapped and branded in coronavirus so that people are scared into voting for it. And the point that was made by your financial panel earlier is entirely correct. This is only the beginning. And we are about to see massive inflation in this country as a consequence of no real pressure against the printing of money.”

“The only reasons that we haven’t seen that inflation yet: One, we’ve had downward pressure as a result of the lower cost of transmitting data,” Gaetz continued. “Second, the dollar continues to be very attractive globally for people to acquire. And I think that as we roll into the second and third rounds of stimulus, you put the dollars, the global reserve currency, in more jeopardy than it is today.”

Dr. Shades, you can be a little obtuse when you want to. I must commend you.

Everyone bites on the "Where does the 1.9 trillion come from?" Everyone assumes that it is a rhetorical question, that the unspoken rhetorical implication is that we don't have the money.

We don't have the money. We didn't have the money we spent during the Great Depression or World War II. In wars and economic emergencies, governments spend more than they take in. Covid-19 is a biological war and a economic emergency rolled into one. In World War II, the personal income tax rate was over 90%, and remained nearly that high until the 1960's.

We've lost more Americans to Covid than died in World War II, and we've only been at war for a year. Leaving the tax rate low when the Government desperately needs revenue does not seem like a viable option. The answer to the question is that the money comes from deficit spending, and some of that deficit can be made up by increasing the tax rate on the wealthiest Americans.
The great problem of any civilization is how to rejuvenate itself without rebarbarization.
