I put Mormon (seems to be the minority). Although I enjoy learning about church history, the good and the bad.

I'm an exmormon, and I'm most certainly critical of the church, but I'm critical of all religions, really. I think the world would be a lot better off with out a belief in god and religion in general. Anyone who encourages you to think that belief without evidence is a good thing is a scam artist in my book, or at the very least, not the best person to take advice from.

As for the cheeseburger analogy, I suspect people might be over-thinking it. Maybe he just thought she has nice buns.

My first post.

I'm a Baptist minister from Independence, MO who for these past twenty-two years has been preaching out of both the Book of Mormon, as well as the Bible.

I love the Book of Mormon.

Mormon, though my motives are suspect.

I am Mormon because it is the only religion that claims to offer me unlimited power if I accept and follow it and one day I will rule the Cosmos and the very elements will obey my every whim. Then I will create a pleasure planet that will cater to my every desire. Gigantic waves that I can surf across the entire ocean, mountain climbing to heights outside the atmosphere, parties in the heart of an exploding sun, 8-dimensional chess against my fellow gods, a wife or wives with the power to shift form at will, and waking up to the smell of the sea.

You give some Mormons eternal life and immortal power and they'd probably be scared to use it as if they could break it. I believe we're in training for happiness not duty or pointless busyness which is all a lot of people seem to be getting out of life.

Bond, are you saying I could actually be crowned The Cupcake Queen by having my own custom title?!? Cool! Who would be the person to make that custom title for me? Would it be Dr. Shades? How do I go about getting him to make me the Cupcake Queen? Perhaps I should employ my womanly wiles. That's what I normally do when persuading men to submit to my will...

The person you want to talk to is Dr. Shades. There are two ways to go if you want a custom title:

1) You can take him out for a movie and a great dinner...send flowers and candy...read him poetry....whisper sweet nothings in his ear....or

2) Send him a PM asking for a title.

Guess which one I picked...I need a shower ;)
