That's not deception.

And I'm saying it is.

I'll go try to log in as Who Knows. If it doesn't let me in, I'm not going to subvert the rules. If they want to un-ban me, that's fine with me.

...if I wanted, i could call your actions here 'character suicide', but that would probably be a tad over-dramatic.

Nah, you haven't done anything wrong. You haven't resorted to name calling.

I suppose I need to grow thicker skin or get out of the boards.

That's sounds like a good idea.

You are kidding, right? How can you, a never-mormon, even begin to talk about perspective within the ex-mormon/Mormon paradigm?

Do you really have a clue what either side really feels? You can't stand in my shoes to know what I experience as an ex-mormon. Nor can you stand on the other side with the testimony bearers. You really know neither side. You haven't had one and you haven't lost one. You can watch it play out, you can philosophize all you want about it, but can you really feel what either side is all about?

Calling someone here on self-esteem issues is really too much. LMAO

Go ahead and disagree with and dislike certain behavior all you want. But all you really are here is a sideline spectator, no?

Wie gehts, gramps.

How do YOU know that I don't know what ex-LDS feel like?

Mir geht es gut. Danke. Und, na, wie geht es dir?

If I am mistaken that you personally have never been a member of the church, forgive me. It could be my age. Losing memory. If it is early Alzheimer's then maybe I should follow the latest scientific research and smoke some (more) pot. Of course, it could be short-term memory loss from smoking pot. What should I do? I'm in a quandry. Help me out therapist. (It's free, I hope.) The pot already costs too much already.

Es geht mir gut, Danke. What you're suggesting is that it "takes one to know one" , gramps and I find that a somewhat indefensible position. I see that at least a few posters here resort to that position when challenged. Mercury thinks I am "uniformed" or lack experience with LDS yet he cannot demonstrate that by other means than that I've simply objected to something he's stated.

It's a matter of perspective taking. Do I know what it feels like to be ostracized, betrayed, lied to? Of course I do.

Aren't you attempting to stand in MY shoes?

Perhaps Mercury should have followed through with his invitation to interview me . Of course jumping to assumptions is far easier.

p.s. Knock off the pot and get some of that good beer!!! Prost!

I, for one, have always enjoyed your posts, on both boards. Hope you stay.
