In my chats with the chat missionaries, the only lies I told involved my wife's interest in the church and my relationship to her desire.

Otherwise, everything I said was true: I'm an atheist, and everything I said in response to what he said was exactly what I think on the matters discussed.

However, if I felt like completely misrepresenting myself for the fun of it, I'd have no problem with that either. This isn't life or death, folks. It's just internet chat. It's not like money was going to change hands or people's lives are endangered.
