So this version of Shade's board been around a while.....how'd people find this board?

Please explain if it's a cool story (like you had a vision of Mormondiscussions.com) or if you found this place during a board war or something cool like that.

Heard about it on MAD and was a poster on the previous version of Shade's board (although I didn’t post much). But, since I can't pick two... I just picked my nose.

I picked "Got Lucky" although I wouldn't phrase it that way.

I heard about it from Maggie Mormon/Selah in one of her MySpace groups.

It was Shades doctrine of election: I was chosen. :-P Now look at me, I'm having to create my own emoticons. You're sovereign, Shades.

I have no interesting story. I think I first heard about it on RfM and I also posted on a previous Shades board. But a long time went by before I started posting on this version. I checked it out again mostly because runtu was posting here...

I was one of the originals when Shades started the other board. I've been banned from most LDS-related boards, so it's good to find a home away from home (home being the Fringe where many of us landed after getting hammered from all sides).

I was confused about which of the mo'discussion boards to join.

The choices racked my soul.

I went into a grove of trees and offered up my question in great supplication to the almighty.

I was told to join none of them, for they were abominations unto his sight.

Two messengers appeared and one spoke saying "This is Dr. Shades and he will restore the only true discussion board to the face of the infobahn"

I was told to return to this site every three months, and my mind would be further enlightened.

Praise to the man, Dr. Shades!

I have been a member of Shady Acres since it was a piece of chalk on a string taped to the granite exterior wall of the SLC temple.

You heard about it on RfM? You must have read it a few nano seconds before the post was sent to /dev/null as any mention of Shady Acres over there is like painting a target on the post.

What's up with that? Do they hate us for our freedom or something?
