i just received my newest toy. the alphagrip. check it out at alphagrips.com

its a little hard to get used to. i am backspacing a lot.

once I get past this learning curve i'm sure it'll kick major ass

Now THAT is funky. I can't tell - do the usual fingers hit the usual keys in that configuration?

How the heck are you supposed to know which keys correspond to which letters?

I took it one step further -- I attached a gyro mouse, so instead of the trackball, all I have to do is move the controller, wii style.

Still can't type very fast yet. The problem is all the symbols I use in programming, they're a bit harder to get to.
