What are we reading? [WARNING: SPOILER ALERT]
[MODERATOR NOTE: If you haven't finished reading the Harry Potter series to date, I recommend NOT reading any further. SPOILER ALERT!]
Here is where you get to post what you are reading this summer. List a book you have recently completed, one you are currently reading (if applicable), and one that you plan on reading soon.
Me:
Just finished: Falling Man by Don DeLillo
Currently reading: The Diviners by Rick Moody
Next book in line: Ghosts by John Banville

I just moments ago finished J.D. Salinger's The Catcher in the Rye, which I started this morning. (It's a short book.)
I'll be looking over Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass until Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is released. I'm so excited about that book and the new movie coming out Wednesday. Yesterday, I bought our tickets for Wednesday's noon showing. The girls and I are counting down the minutes!

Currently about to begin a massive reread of all Harry Potter books before the new one comes out.....which I'll buy and finish before the day is out.

My husband and I read to our children every night. I just finished To Kill a Mockingbird and we started A Wrinkle in Time two nights ago. I'm sorry to say I don't read much for myself anymore. The last book I read was Dr. Henry Lee's Forensic Book which was really disappointing, he's a terrible author. I read Go Dog Go earlier this morning. :)
We've reread all of the Harry Potter books too to prepare! Woop! Can't wait!

Just read Murakami's Kafka on the Shore.
I am currently wading through Nozick's Philosophical Explanations, while reading Sagan's Demon Haunted World (can you believe it, I haven't yet read that one?)
I have no idea what's up next.

Who Knows, I don't know how you finished McCarthy's book. I couldn't stand it. He writes in the strangest, choppy sentences. Like me.
It certainly looks like quite a few of us will be reading Harry Potter in the next few weeks. I'm anxious to read it, but disappointed that it will be the last one of the series.
