I had more than enough of WAZing the first time, thank you.

How sweet of you to say so! There's something to be said for pointing out something as obvious as applicable arrogant prick-hood and then being hauled off to the principal's office with one's very first post! And I've had little reason to change my initial judgment, although personally I think you've mellowed a bit. Of course, it has been almost 10 years since WAzing first landed on Z, so maybe your prickiness has simply dissipated through age.

Your on-line persona is famous for your pithy, vicious, arrogant prick-hood. You deny this, after so many years, and so much hard work on your part to maintain the facade? I cannot tell you the number of posters who parade through the boards, shaking their heads at your on-line persona. It really is a piece of work, and like any fine craftsmanship, needs to be recognized for what it is: genius. Well done, Daniel! Own it for the masterpiece it is!

Eloquently delivered from the elevated throne of your loving and tender graciousness, so unlike the damnable harshness of those lesser mortals you were born to judge.

Your real problem is that I don't suffer fools gladly.

Just in case all you guys need some extra insults here are few for you to use as you will:

1.Your stultifying pontification is a veritable cornucopia of torturous nonsense.
2. The unfortunate folly that was your birth reminds me there is no God.
3. You are an appallingly incompetent, one-dimensional bottom-feeder.
4. It's clear to me that your personality also serves as a contraceptive for you.
5. You are an unbelievably offensive, shameless simpleton.
6. You are a pathetically parasitic, foolish imbecile.
7. You are a horribly ignorant, boorish cretin.
8. You are a congenitally witless, ignorant peon.
9. I can't fathom the unfortunate consequences of a life with such an egregiously myopic perspective as yours.
10. You are an unspeakably naïve, uncivilized sycophant

Thanks. I like them, but I'm trying to avoid insults in favor of clinical description.

William F. Buckley was once asked why Robert Kennedy refused to debate him on his television show. He responded somewhat to the effect of "If baloney could reject the grinder, wouldn't it?"

WAZing/harmony/serenity offered virtually nothing on the other boards but non-stop servings of illogical and unsubstantiated condemnation. Sadly for her, though, she had failed to reckon on the grinder. And she's resented me ever since.

Did you think no one recognized your more sterling qualities? I assure you, we noticed. Many of us noticed. Repeatedly, we noticed. It was and is hard to not notice. You are definitely a noticable and notable guy, one of God's stalwart warriors, one of the chosen ones. We wait with bated breath, anticipating your next effort to smite the opposition, hip and thigh.

Your real problem is that I don't suffer fools gladly.

Daniel! You're back! I was afraid a doppleganger had stolen a vital part of your personality for a few minutes. How wonderful to have you back, still your old self, as prickly as ever, to tell me what my real problem is. And you are so clever, to make yourself into my problem. How sweet.

Actually, my real problem is I've allowed you to pull me down this rabbit hole again! How adroitly you change the subject from the real subject of the thread to a discussion about yourself. You always were a clever devil! Well done! Well done indeed.

A grinder? No! No! I've always pictured you more like a steam roller, flattening people with what we've been assured was simply your famous wit. Ya see, we've been told that you aren't really such an arrogant prick... that it's really us misreading your sense of humor. We're supposed to laugh, you see. And although I can appreciate an ascerbic wit, wit that's meant to cause pain just seems so unChristlike. But there I go again, misreading you once again, and not laughing in the appropriate places.

Resented you? Oh my. Daniel, you really do need to get past this over-developed sense of self-importance. It's getting in the way of your mindreading abilities. Surely you cannot feel that your reading of me is any more accurate than my reading of you? Not even your abundant ego would be that full of hubris.

Ad hominem Haiku:

arrogant prick-hood

prickiness vicious prick-hood

arrogant prick-hood

Look, don't blame me. I was working and needed a break!

;-)

(And no, I don't want to debate whether or not that's ad hominem. It sounded good in the title!)
