Well why in the world would he ask me? The way I feel about Dr. Peterson and the Quinn sexuality gossip is SO WHAT? Even if he was sitting there like a giddy school girl totally like squealing with delight over Quinn's sexuality I don't care!
Tarski wrote:And if they admitted to stretching the truth on this occasion we should all immediately forgive it. Even if they don't the point has been made and unless Jullian et. al. decide to respond I don't see the point of prolonging this topic. The point, I.e. the bottom line, has been reached and no one is contradicting it yet.
Actually, now that the thread has managed to wrap back around to Scratch's original OP, I would like to hear his response to the fact that Dr. Peterson isn't making a concerted effort to defend Juliann, Jan, and the gang. I think that Scratch was hoping DCP would do this, and he didn't. He, in fact, did the opposite. He stated that if there was impropriety on the part of Juliann, Jan, etc. that they should take responsibility for it.

Just finding out? hearing that? passively gaining the information?
Well, I was assuming she meant the context in which I used it.
And if someone in the church hears from someone else that someone is gay, is carries with it the very good chance that in that receiver's mind, that gay person's reputation is smeared.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.
Juliann, Jan, et. al. screwed up. They lied and covered for each other.
Yes, but when they typed it into their keyboards didn't they know it would appear on the screen? That's what I don't get about the whole series of events!

I think that was Scratch's point. The whole incident was a catalyst for them to run to FAIR with their tails between their legs.
The whole "transcript" incident was such an embarrassing debacle that the campaigning for the FAIR board was put into hyper-drive.
And thus...the birth of the heavy-handed moderated FAIR emerged.
"And Juliann created FAIR in her own image, and saw that it was good."

I understand, Liz. But think about it, there were a group of presumably educated people engaging in discussion/debate/whatever on an online message board, dodging, ducking, evading, misdirecting, attempting to work in concert only to see that it's unraveling in their hands....and they did it all on the screen. For 28 pages no less! How dumb is that?
I'd be the first to admit that I've done some pretty dumbass stuff with threads but hey, there's a time to get out of Dodge.

Their coordination skills were definitely lacking.
