Jersey Girl wrote:What first letter do you need and how many syllables? I can rattle off children's names in my sleep, and I probably do!

Here's some:

Dacia (pronounced Day-sha)
Raegan
Kadence
Hannah
Kayleigh
Maxine
Kaylee
Madison
Kinsey
Savannah
Emma
Elizabeth
Cerenity (Serenity)
Rose
Halle (Hal-ee)
Addison

I have the names Savannah, Halle, and Raegan on my list. Now I will add on Dacia. Thanks for the ideas!
I don't really have a letter or number of syllables in mind but I tend to like unique names.

Bond, damned fine rant there, man. That was a text book example of proper usage of dirty four letter words. Now, I'm all out of gold stars, so you'll just have to settle for a "well done".

That is funny you mentioned this. I wanted to name our first daughter Daria 6 years ago and my husband knew about that show and refused to consider it. ( I haven't seen the show before.) He is finally OK with the name now and was the one who suggested it for this baby, but I do worry about her being called diareah by kids in school. It sounds kind of close to that word.

Moksha might make a good girl's name.

Old fashioned names are popular. I sort of like Hannah Merrin. Of course Merrin itself is nice, as well as a variation, Perrin.

Having a name that works well with the baby's last name is also a consideration.
