Do you think I'll get banned from MAD if I call Juliann "Delores" the next time I converse with her on MAD?

Well, I met Juliann once, and I'd say she looks more like Stephen King's Dolores Claiborne.

I always pictured her more as Annie Wilkes in Misery.

Isn't that Annie Wilkes from Misery again? As I recall Dolores Claiborne's weapon of choice was the rolling pin....or a big hole in the ground. I think Juliann would much favor the axe over a rolling pin. More to the point.

I can't stop laughing.

You're upset because the Conference people wouldn't let people alter the seating and then gloating as if this is a major victory and you've exposed them for who they really are.

???

Ardis Parshall is a fervent and devoted Mormon journalist/historian (or to be less reverent, a digger of Faith-Promoting Rumor's from the church archives). That a group of professional TBM's would take umbrage at her for any reason, least of all at the premier public apolgetic lovefest, is nothing short of absolutely and completely astonishing.

Hence, the humor.

(Perhaps I read too much between the lines, but I wonder if some of the players in this vignette might not be a little jealous of Ardis...)
