So, Jersey Girl. Were you any of the Z trolls? Were you involved with the Itchy Blog? Were you Mrs. Robbins? Inquiring minds want to know!

I find it remarkable, quite frankly, that there are more people upset about some guy on the internet looking up harmless information on the internet about an anonymous poster, than there was any sort of outcry when this poster (that everyone is defending) found it appropriate to threaten the lives of me and my children.

Perhaps it's just that I was on the receiving end... I sort of doubt it though. I was just as appalled by coffee's behavior when he threatened Bond and freaked out on Liz. Perhaps things like this get my antennae perky when posters try to intimidate by bravado... I try to avoid this people in real life as well as on the internet.

I don't find pumplehoober's demeanor that alarming, I DO find the "so what" reaction to a poster threatening the lives of other posters to be the alarming aspect of this entire situation.

Either way, I'm glad he doesn't post here anymore and hope it stays that way.

Again, I don't care who he is or what he said he is or anything about him... this in all actuality told me VERY little about him and told me a great deal about the people that post here.

monkeys,

I never saw a threat about your children made by coffee. Did you report it to admin? If so, what did admin do? I did see the threat made on Bond. I assume this was likewise reported to higher ups? If admin failed to address it to people's satisfaction then the complaint should be to admin, that is to say, Dr. Shades or Keene.

Were I admin (and again, thank goodness I'm not because there wouldn't be enough posters left to drive the board!) I would have given coffee the boot at the first sign of threat reported to me. As I would likewise boot Stalker.

Why wasn't coffee booted?

My participation on this thread has not a thing to do with coffee as an individual, it has to do with raising the creep factor on a board and nothing more.

Again, did you report a complaint to admin and what action did they take?

As I see it, your complaint here should be with admin and not the people who oppose Stalker's actions here. Both posters are wrong in my eyes and you will see nowhere on this board where I support coffees' threat on Bond.

I don't believe I did report it although I'm pretty sure Bond saw it. My point is that coffee was a pain in the ass and I'm gone he is gone.

I don't have all the background you do on all the other drama that has gone on with these boards over the years and don't react in the same manner you do.

And my point is that it's an admin issue. If someone makes a threat or apppears to exhibit threatening behavior, I say take it straight to admin and put the ball in their court.

You're right! I should have done that. The only reason I didn't was it was immediately following the threats made to Bond and Coffee was still posting. I just assumed no one cared.

Guy with the ciggie:

So, Jersey Girl. Were you any of the Z trolls?

No. I do think I know who they were but I will not say who I think they were publicly.

Were you involved with the Itchy Blog?

My only involvement in the Itchy Blog was reading it.

Were you Mrs. Robbins?

No.

Inquiring minds want to know!

I'm sure they do. That statement appeared on the Itchy Blog. I am someone who caught what was going on and went in to try to help out a few folks whom I considered friends.

And you?

Had I seen it, *I* would have cared. Had it been a threat made on me, I would have crawled straight up admin's butt.

Coffee is not a public figure? Was any of the information I found not publicly available? Can a general Google search access information that is NOT public?

As to what Coffee publicly disclosed about himself, I don't recall him ever telling us his name except perhaps unintentionally through his email address (Frankly I suspect you are backpeddling on the David thing, for you are too smart to have mistyped "David" instead of "Dallas").

Except I made reference to the Jason Bourne issue about two weeks ago…

http://mormondiscussions.com/discuss/vi ... 5b11ea1cb4

I can back peddle, but not fast enough to go back in time!!!

He certainly did not intend to have us link him to other message boards or to display his picture, or indeed to have mentioned his kids (fictional or not).

That's a stupid thing to say since the picture I linked to is the same picture he gave of himself here. Did you miss that? He posted the same picture in two places.

So, if it pleases Your Majesty, I should hope you can see a there is a significant difference between public figures and the rest of the masses.

Public: http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=public

1. of, pertaining to, or affecting a population or a community as a whole: public funds; a public nuisance.
2. done, made, acting, etc., for the community as a whole: public prosecution.
3. open to all persons: a public meeting.
4. of, pertaining to, or being in the service of a community or nation, esp. as a government officer: a public official.
5. maintained at the public expense and under public control: a public library; a public road.
6. generally known: The fact became public.
7. familiar to the public; prominent: public figures.
8. open to the view of all; existing or conducted in public: a public dispute.
9. pertaining or devoted to the welfare or well-being of the community: public spirit.
10. of or pertaining to all humankind; universal.

When was any information about Coffee made available that was not open to all persons, as in definition 3 above? When was private information ever found, utilized, or referenced?

I would like a hyperlink.

Again the level of argumentation here is abysmal!!! You do not even seem to know the definition of public.
