I love the way Lighting crashes just builds and builds as the song progresses.

Totally. That's the first song I heard of theirs. Brilliant. 'Throwing Copper' is class from start to finish.
Although I didn't like Secret Samadhi as much, I think Lakini's Juice is probably their best track.

My brother went to a small show where they played and got to go onstage and sing with them.

Woah! Lucky begger! :D

Ok - Sheryl Crow. Hell yeah.

Wow, Gaz, do you really think Bob hates everything about me? LOL! It's that bad, huh?

And thanks, Ren, for the Sheryl Crowe songs. I love My Favorite Mistake - it's my favorite song of hers!

Here's a song, Tulsa Time, which is a tribute to my own beloved T-Town.

Clapton's version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omwpY42J1Fk

And Don Williams' version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLBxAWGHwy0

And for Ren, a version featuring Cheryl Crowe and Eric Clapton: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rM6QGfGK5LM

PS - A little Wiki article about the "Tulsa Sound" and it's influence on Clapton and Mark Knopfler: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tulsa_Sound
Here's Clapton and Knopfler together in a live version of Lay Down Sally. I love this song! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqELgVWeVGM

I'm not really much of a Sheryl Crow fan. Shes done one or two I thought were alright. She did a nice cover of Rod Stewarts First cut is the deepest. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OVUSCQwCX8

I never knew Eric Clapton sang Tulsa time! I've only ever heard Don Williams version. That was cool, especially since it was old footage of Clapton. Lay Down Sally was one of the old ones I loved to listen to. I used to listen to the Time Pieces best of cassette over and over again.

Mark Knopfler sang a song on the Twister movie sound track that I just fell in love with : Darling Pretty - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBppwtJU3Pc

Also for all of you The Princess Bride movie fans, Knopfler did all of the music for that film. Storybook Love (Not official video) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRndBUN1V0c

This is definitely one to watch: Andy Williams & The Osmonds - Lida Rose (1964)

Watch for cute little Marie Osmond's first appearance on TV.
