Can someone help me out here?

What's the point of watching someone else play sports?

What's the point of watching tv? What's the point of watching movies? What's the point of...

Well, since I'm from Georgia, and did NOT go to BYU like it seems so many others here did, all I can say is ...

I am interested to see how well Alabama does with Nick Saban.

Shades, I kinda agree with you about watching others play. I got frustrated, which is why I coach my own football team and I play as well. Yes, in Brazil! Not soccer futebol, but American football. It is more popular here than baseball is, which is unusual for a S. American country.

I am glad I am going back to the US in October, because I absolutely love college football. NFL pisses me off too much because those guys are all millionares who only sometimes try hard. But I am glad Atlanta (my team) got rid of Vick. Talk about overrated.

Atlanta is my team too!

When I was much, much younger, my father used to get season tickets. On the 50 yard line, but on the TOP row of the old Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium. Talk about the wind! Great times, though.

I'm sorry to see that Vick did not live up to his potential, either in football or in life.

I hope he gets himself together, but I think his playing days are over.

Hey, the Falcons did win the other night! Maybe they can do something without the specter of Vick hanging over their heads.

Hey, Kev....Are you coming back to the US for a visit, or are you guys moving back here?

I was right there with you, Evolving, until you said "Diet" Dr. Pepper.

I loathe diet drinks of any kind. It's either full sugar and caffeine or water. ;)

I enjoy football as long as there is a lot of "bad for you" food present......pizza, chips, corn dogs, nachos, etc. LOL

You have a dirty mouth, Will Schryver. And I just realized you're the circle jerk guy, aren't you?! Ewwww!

You don't seem very Mormon-y to me. I say you belong among the apostates at Lavell Edwards Stadium.

Is the spirit telling you this? ;)

We'd better wait to find out how hall does, before making such grand predictions. Especially since we're playing 17th ranked ucla on the road. But yes, we can hope.

And having us heathens at the stadium - if the cougars lose, you can always blame us for bringing the evil spirit.

For you ute fans - I truly feel bad for you. You wait 8 months, and the season is over in the first quarter. Let's just hope the rest of the team stays injury free the rest of the season, johnson has a fast rehab, and asiata's football career isn't over (can you say theismann?).

Well, in his defense, Will didn't know what the phrase meant.
