Sigh! I like to come back and visit my hometown once in a while.

But, it won't be this year.

I'm really planning on next year though.

Brian, that should give you enough time to plan! LOL

I love SLC in October, especially southern Utah.

For next year, how about a day on horses up in the Uintahs? Anyone up for that? It beats the open mike session, hands down!

Oh, Gramps! I wish you could be there this year! It may be a stretch talking my husband into letting me go again next year, but now I just have to go and meet you!

And yes, horseback riding does sound better than open mike night! Come to think of it, lots of things sound better than open mike night...

What is open mike night? Is that kinda like a testimony meeting, only it's a testimony of ex-testimonies?

Yes, ex-testimonies! Some are even complete with the crying. I don't mind a few, but they dedicate a whole night to those! I'd rather do something fun this year. And next year, too, like horseback riding with Gramps. :)

Well, let's start planning it!

I think I can round up a few horses. ;)

Geez. If we're going to have a Godiva enactment, please at least bring some chocolate for those of us of the female persuasion! ;)

So Shades and I have worked out a plan for this group, Kimberly Ann! We are going to be doing lunch at 1:30 on Friday, October 12 in downtown SLC. If any of you have expressed interest already on this thread, look for a PM from me with details. If you would like to join us, please PM me for details. I have reserved a private event room so we can dine and drink and chat to our hearts content without endangering the sensibilities of other diners.

Thanks, and I look forward to seeing all of you!

Thank you, Trinity! I'll be there!

Also, Liz, I've shopped and shopped for a va-va-voom red dress that doesn't cross the line into sleazy, if you know what I mean. I want to be classy as I expose the majority of my breasts, lol!
