That is a difficult issue in general. I think most are probably born with the inclination and I have trouble consigning someone to a life of never being able to have a loving nurturing relationship.

Harmony (and myself) may defend the religion, but still be inured by the repressive antics of BYU. Many Mormons are so faithful as to defend even the ridiculous and demeaning, others of us are able to observe the absurdity of this repression. Are we less faithful or are we practicing our beliefs rather than being hypnotized by them? I would say the latter.
