I was thinking that through this thread. Wondering if the "magical" appealed to Nephi and Dulcinea.

In a way I would say that you are right, at least for me. The patterns and similarities were so strong I was often struck speechless.

Oh! That is interesting. What patterns and similarities do you witness Dulcinea?

Many similarities exist within the Temple, as well as through basic ideas expressed through parts of the Pearl of Great Price.

Oh! I didn't realize this. Can you elaborate? I'm not familiar with either of those too well.

Schmo did a spiritual thread a while back. I posted on it my thoughts. Might help illuminate slightly what I think of as spiritual.

Dulci, are you not supposed to elaborate? I'm sorry if I asked something of you that you hold sacred.

Dulci is not trying to ignore you. We had chior last night at church and when we got back home, our internet was down. I am writing this from work as we speak. Last time this happened, we didn't get it back again for 48 hours. Hope it is up when I get home today, but we will see. Sorry for the delay in her responses.

Also look to the writings of Dr Seuss, scribbles on napkins and ravings of booze hounds for deep "spiritual" content.

Cactus Jacks has the best napkins for writing on.

Thanks for your patience, Book of Mormon. I am at the local plasma center donating and they have a free hotspot. I am not sure what is up with the internet, but I digress. LOL I will use what time I have!

First I would have to ask about your experiences within the Church and with Wicca? If you have been through the Temple, then I would be able to describe things from Wicca that I found similar without actually divulging Temple information. I don't know how particular this board is about things of this nature, but really there are only a few things that we covenant not to divulge.

I've never been in a LDS temple. I'm not LDS or ex-LDS... I did have a reason for being on LDS boards at one point. Now I just linger. :)

I'm familiar with some aspects of Wicca. If you're uncomfortable divulging anything I completely understand.
