Hmmm, other similarities:

Both religions started by a man who wrote a book that he claimed was divine.

Both religions taught and practiced polygamy.

Both teach if they die in the service of their god they will attain the highest glory in their heaven.

Both place men above women.

Both encourage early marriage.

Both teach that their women should not show too much skin, and force their women to wear special clothing to facilitate covering up.

Oh wait, a difference, one has over a billion followers, is growing faster and the other has almost nothing compared to their BILLION.

The difference is Mormons are harmless. We can poke fun at them, offend them, etc. without worrying about getting our heads cut off.

Nah, as Spock would say, that would be illogical. In fact I can't think of the last time an atheist chopped off the head of a believer for the cause of atheism. It makes no sense. Atheists have no god ordering them to do such things.
