Who has opted out that was a thought provoking member?
Well, the TBM's mostly. They provoke me to think of all the reasons why their logic is so broken. It keeps me on track. Have you seen Gaz, Nehor, DCP, Ray A, Coggins (even though there's no way he could really be a Mormon) and others lately? And then there is Truth Dancer and others. I can identify with their civility (well, except for Coggins). They don't even post to the Celestial lately.

Maybe they're just taking a break....it's been known to happen. Life happens supposedly.......

Yeah, the mods have been getting a little lax in keeping this forum free from naughty words.
Have you noticed the more Porter and Mercury wax, the more the Mormon posters wane? Too bad Asbestosman was not here to put this into a mathematical formula.
Anyway Inconceivable, as a TBM, could my logic not suffice to convince you of a comforting SNAFU environment?
Where is Coggins anyway?

Good form, James.
I think just an occasional reminder is all it takes. You know, that little rudder with the large helm analogy thing...
No need for a lot of spanking going on. We're all adults here (well, sortof).
I took a brief leave of absence. The evil one known as mercury tempted me back to my evil ways of gaming. I'm slowly working my way back to being the resident TBM here.
I do have a scheduled priesthood lesson I need to teach here next sunday. If I do a good job (with help from the Spirit), Ill be sure to post it in the Celestial kingdom for open discussion.
Also, I am unsettled on a specific topic, so if you have a request, Im open to suggestions.

I find myself agreeing with this in particular, and the overall intent of your OP in general. It seems that too frequently, someone will pop into a thread only to throw out a double entendre that then derails an otherwise non-sexual thread into fluffy banter, after which the thread never gets back around to the original topic, no matter how interesting it may have been. Don't get me wrong - I'm not entirely opposed to fluffy banter. There's just a certain "flavor" that occurs too often, gets tiresome, and seems to kill a substantive thread much too quickly.
And while I'm on the topic, I think Belial would contribute more by contributing less. Some of his posts are quite amusing, but he's smothering us with his attempts to be witty. Less is more, little devil. Less is more. Really - do you think that with 100 posts in 3 days you can maintain any sort of quality in your quips? I'll help you out - no, you can't. There, I've said it. No hard feelings though - there have been a few occasions where I've cracked a smile at some of your comments. But most of the time I find the post to be a space-waster that gets in the way of digesting an interesting topic. Sorry.

We don't need more moderators, we need more members willing to contact the CURRENT moderators. We could make every member a moderator, but if no one was willing to use their power, it wouldn't help any.
If there is a problem, speak up about it. That's the only way to get something fixed.

I think that is the intent. Beliel has no other function but to derail, to block, to impede, to sink this forum into the same innocuous nonsense that for the most part passes for discussion on MAD. The way to circumvent his inanity is to demand substance, and then when he doesn't deliver, ignore him.
It's not like he contributes anything around here.
