If she'd smile and lose the rolling pin she'd be cute......so keep that up good sister. Man-hating and woman-hating are two of our best campaigns. Pit one half of the population against the other and you get a perpetual war.

I imagine the week she spent in the town of Stepford, contributed immeasurably in the success of her Church callings.

Maybe the brethren need to re-think that little strategy a bit.

LOL

What is astounding is that working women (probably the majority and not the privileged few) take this stuff and then turn around a pay tithing on their income. That is faith, long-suffering, etc.

It would have to be successfully repositioned to those with money (the West, Japan). These people are more educated and won't be buying. Accordingly, the church will try to increase its' core base through higher birthrates.

Well, all I can say is that they better start marketing to the Chinese if they want to ride the wave of the next great superpower (economically, technologically, militarily).

The quotes from the talk as reported so far spark all sorts of thoughts (none good). But in this case, I'm going to wait to read the text, and then compose my thoughts (the LDS.org site is "temporarily down" now, so I can't see if it's been posted yet). In short, if they're heading back down this path, I'm extra glad I'm out, and not raising my two precious girls in that church.
I may be going to hell in a bucket, babe / But at least I'm enjoying the ride.

Whats the controversy? Everything she said was dead on correct.

Mothers are quickly becoming an endangered species, hunted down by liberal idiots who are so short sighted they can't see the longstandign benefits of a woman in the home rearing good children.

What this woman said should be placed under the windshield wiper of every woman dropping her kids off at a day care center.
We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light. - Plato
