Guess I shouldn't bring up my menage e trois with DCP and Pahoran....

Hi everyone! Thank for coming to lunch, it was great fun! Infymus told me last night that the restaurant personnel were dusting around you guys at nearly 5:00 pm, I wasn't sure I would see anyone conscious from this board for at least 48 hours. ;)

There was just shy of 50 people in attendance. It was a mix of people from multiple boards: RfM, Postmormon.org, MDB, FLAK, NOM.

From this board: Dr. Shades (better late than never, bud), Infymus, Guy Sajer, KimberlyAnn, Runtu, Blixa, and myself. Who Knows and Scottie were unable to make it this time, we missed you and will have to set up another lunch soon for you guys.

I've known Infymus and Guy for quite some time, so everyone else from this board was new to me! You guys are such smart, witty people!

Blixa, I was really glad to chat with you early before the crowd descended. I look forward to hearing more about your book, it sounds like a fascinating venture.

KimberlyAnn. Bouncy, trouncy fun fun fun! What a joy to interact with you in real life. I don't know what was going on in other conversations in the room, but I really enjoyed our little corner. I'm so glad you came out, and hope you plan on doing it again next year.

Runtu, uh huh, I'd agree you had the best seat in the house. It was so nice to meet you after having interacted with you online all these years! We must plan on another lunch soon for those of us here in Utah county.

Dr. Shades, Finally! I wish I could have spent more time with you, but I do believe KimberlyAnn and mishmagnet took adequate care of you when I left. ;)

Other attendees: Swedeboy and wife, Nom de Cypher, Susan D, Smurfette, mamapajama, Amber Ale, SkepticToo, Some Lady, Saganist, Sue Emmett and daugher, Mishmagnet, Gurn Blanston, Craig Paxton, Tom D'Onofrio, GypsyD (and her friend who was once in her beehive class!), mmlgibbons, Winter, Jim Huston and his two children, Lucyfer and green_Messiah, exmofromOH, SunnyDaze, and a host of others who use their real names and I don't want to publish them on the board.

I should probably mention that I got a total kick out of the introductions. At times it felt like an upside-down testimony meeting!

Edited to add special message for Beastie and Harmony: Addict and I had dinner last night and he wanted me to pass on a special "Hi" to you.

Wow! Sounds like quite a crowd. Good thing Wade didn't show up....he might have insighted a riot that toppled the Mormon Theocracy.

Glad everyone had fun.

ACK! I am SO jealous! Addict is one lovely man, and as wise as he is good looking. Between him and HunkyNordic (Walker), I barely managed to keep my drooling to a trickle.

Trinity, thank you for organizing such a lovely lunch! It was a joy meeting you and my other exmo friends.

Hopefully, I didn't leave Guy Sajer with a special parting gift: a sore throat. He tasted my drink at the luncheon and on Saturday, I noticed I was developing a painful sore throat, from which I'm still suffering. I'm sorry, Guy, if I made you sick. Oh, and Runtu drank after me, too! I hope he's alright. Perhaps I'm just experiencing an allergic reaction brought on by the overabundance of Mormon-ness and am not contagious at all. :)

Again, it was lovely to meet y'all!

I was really bummed that I couldn't be there. I hope that I can meet you all sometime in the future. Good to hear you guys had a good time.

So, Scotty, did your TBM girlfriend forbid you from eating with us? :P

You missed my extreme cleavage, dude. I always show cleavage in the shadow of the everlasting hills. It's what protects me from all the Mormons in Utah. Some people ward them off with large crosses. I use large cleavage. My friend, MishMagnet, uses what I call her "Olfactory Garments". It's her favorite mo-repelling perfume and I suggested she draw markings on the bottle. We're such bitter, angry, yet sexy, exmormons. :)

Sorry you couldn't make the lunch. Come next year and bring the Mormon girl. My cleavage, however, provides a protective barrier of at least three feet between myself and Mormons, so I won't be able to sit by her. ;)

I add my thanks to Trinity for putting the whole thing together.

I had a great time meeting you all. It was just the pleasurable social diversion I needed.

I wouldn't be so sure. I saw what they've been googling.
