The fact that you found Ray's posting appropriate and not worthy of censor (given the tone of the site in general) speaks volumes about why you, to this day, remain clueless as to your own banning.

Ray acted like an arse from the second he started posting there. MD tolerates arses, but most boards won't.

The fact that this board WILL tolerate arses (in that they aren't just banned) is what has provided Ray fodder for his "anti angry exmormon" jihad. Ironically, it's also the only reason he wasn't banned here as well.

Hi Jeff (Ricks), feel free to engage in censorship (just like MADB does), and delete this thread, and the link. I fully understand. The truth hurts. Get rid of truth: Press "delete".

At least Ray acknowledges what the MADB does!

Why me, get a life. You complain that all the ex-Mormon's can't move on and you can't. You complain that this board just complains about MAD, now you are are a broken record about PostMormon. You are full of double standards. Mormon/Catholic .... again you are all over the place, make up your mind .... if you have one.

I don't think that I complained that this board just complains about MAD. I did say other things however. If I did say it, I did not say it over and over again.

I think that Ray got the same understanding as I did when he read the mission statement from the postmo and saw the actual posts on the discussion board. They are quite different. The mission statement should be reflected in the postmo discussionboard. And poor Ray did get a part of my treatment when Jeff began to get personal about Ray's marriage and the attempt to psychoanalyze Ray. They do tend to do that to people that don't agree with them.

I remember the same treatment. On the postmo board I was quite honest with my past and it was used against me. I don't mind but I suppose that I find certain people hypocritical on the postmo.

Ray, came in like a bull in a china closet. He deserved the treatment he got. He has also settled down a lot and is being tolerated over there very well. It it is much more civil now.

I will give you this, you have always been more polite than Ray but you have a holier than thou manner and combine that with your PollyAnna Mormon Apologetic Playbook lecturing answers and guess what? You're not wanted around there. Well Duh? They are sick your types.

Even if the board rules are one thing and the implementation is another, so be it, take a hint, let it go, say Bye Bye. They don't need you, they don't want you. It sound like another board we are familiar with doesn't it.

The only agenda Post Mormon has is to avoid dealing with Richard Craniums like Ray and you. When I troll over on the MADB site I get the same treatment from them as you did/do from Post Mormon. When I get banned at MADB I don't go whining to other boards about MADB being unfair, its their board and their rules. I don't know why you have such a boner against Post Mormon and their "policies"? It is beyond me maybe you need a blessing to get the contention out of you soul. I even have some consecrated oil left over from my TBM days and can give you a post Mormon blessing of comfort but it will be my anniversary soon and the oil might be used up for other purposes so let me know soon. It seems pathetic that you can't move on. I have read at least 4 posts started by you on different sites about post Mormon. I guess if Post Mormon is you windmill then you need to flail away Don Quioxte.

The answer is simple. Ray came on the board predicting his banning. But he also made the announcement that his time will not be long on the board. These two statements saved Ray. He came close to a ban but I believe that Jeff did not want to make a martyr out of him. However, if he continues to post on other threads, he will face court discipline and be ousted. The postmos cannot take someone upsetting their 'ideal' belief system.

Also Ray has done very well in answering as many posts as possible. Someone in Ray's position needs to answer 99% of the posts or he will face postmo excommunication. So far, he has remained on one site and has managed quite well. However if he spreads himself across the board, and is not able to answer the 15 posts that his response will get, he will be banned. One reason that I was banned was because I could not answer all posts by the posters. I was accused of dodging the posts among other things.

Also, I was an inactive fence sitter. I was accused of not being able to relate to the experiences of former active members. There is also a separate rule for TBMs and promos and separate rule for postmos. Equality does not exist on the postmorgue.
