The trouble with actually meeting people who live so far away is that it's really hard to get together and bond. (No, Bond. That's "bond" with a small b, not "Bond" with a capital B). Unless, of course, one is independently wealthy, but then one would be a GA or something similiar, and have no time for the boards.
