Welcome charity!
It appears that charity (yes, that one; unless someone is trolling and pretending to be her) has registered here. I welcome you to the board, charity (if it's really you), even though you have contributed to my banning from MAD. Looking forward to discussion.

I never for one moment thought she was not a good person. I'm curious as to what prompted your comment.
It wasn't aimed at you particularly. I just misread your comment about the thermodynamics of hell. I'm a little slow sometimes.

Charity's surely a nice person, not evil or anything like that. She's just incredibly naïve and utterly and totally convinced that the LDS church is true, Joseph Smith was God's Right-Hand Man on Earth and the best thing (save Jesus) since sliced bread. With that in mind, she is 100% totally and absolutely sure that whatever the critics say, which would tend to incriminate Joseph Smith or undermine the church, must 100% be either wrong, a lie, a mistake, or misinformed. It cannot possibly be true. That's the assumption that underpins her every response to any given criticism. I've met quite a few LDS like her, actually.
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen
