My symptoms reflect what you are saying as well.

Here are the type of topics that I find irrevalent and time wasting - The board has trended toward them lately:

1) Senseless pre-pubescent accusations and taking offense at mere words, skirmishes that will destroy a decent thread for literally pages.

2) Sexual references/topics meant primarily for the shock value - in threads that have nothing to do with sex.

3) So many threads not meant for the Forums they remain in:

a. Sex based threads far from a PG- PG-13 theme like - "I'm a mistress banging a married Mormon and want some justification")
b. Welcome back ...
c. Glad you left...
d. Enjoyed the picnic..
e. I think DCP is a baby..
f. Madd did something predictable.. (well, duh.)
g. nitpicking fine points of irrevalent topics

4) I venture to say that knew members or lurkers are put off by the tribe of about 20 that make their camp here. Have any of us noticed that it's the same posters different day?

I found the board to be quite inviting for the first 6 months or so - believe it or not with most of you that live here. I enjoyed the dialog and even the light flaming. It's a different board now. What I'm looking for as I plow through this crap is more sprititual based and even a little more mature conversations with those looking to make sense out of the trainwreck called Mormonism. I have found the different belief systems represented here valuable to my therapy.

Anyway, Flame away. It's predictable.

I've taken pre-emptive measures and am now sporting my fireproof suit. Offend me for a word (or perhaps just take a moment and re-evaluate why many of you (us) camp here).

Yep, understandable. I guess there's something for everyone.

But of course it's the same folks who keep posting. They're the ones who post here. I'm not sure what you're looking to be different. This is just like any other board. People post at the board they like to post at. Is it the number of folks that post here that you take issue with or what? Do you just wish there were more regulars? I'm interested in that comment.
