Book of Mormon took place in Parallel Universe?
Here is an idea that the apologists might want to consider. Check out this article on parallel universes.

The LGT is somewhat of a laughingstock among non-mormons, but this parallel universe thing is new and sexy. The best part is, it cannot be disproven. We don't have the technology to examine parallel universes. Nephi and his family could have been transported to another universe, and Moroni crossed back over to bury the plates. It is not only plausible, it is also really cool.

The Book of Mormon was never sexy; why try to make it so now?
"Surely he knows that DCP, The Nehor, Lamanite, and other key apologists..." -Scratch clarifying my status in apologetics

Good point. Neither were Mormon apologetics, even though they have long been tarted up.

Am I an Apologist? Because I'm sexy.

LOL!
I think the alternate universe is actually a more respectable argument than their current version of:
the Book of Mormon was written by a couple of Mesoamerican peons who suffered from delusions of grandeur
or, as I fondly refer to it: the Book of Mormon was written by a pimply teenage Mesoamerican kid hiding in his mom's basement, writing about a make believe world

We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.
