the blurb on the news just a few minutes ago mentioned the Newall California residents were all evacuated, and the home losses were very substantial - wherever you are Bob, I hope you and your family are safe !!

Bob needs to realize that interpreting this situation through the rose colored glasses of Mormonism is a sign. If bobs house is smoldering right now its because of him. The Mormon God punishes those who are due vengeance.

In my worldview bob, your possible housing situation is determined not by an anthropomorphic being but by the luck of the draw. Stuff happens and you don't have to blame yourself because of it.

Nevertheless I hope you are safe because you and your family are human beings, not because you paid your tithing.

Which one of those in that area did not pay tithing?

Mormons who do not pay their tithes cause all of the natural disasters.

In my minds eye I see Bob running into his home to grab one thing, his laptop. Later he is spotted at a Starbuck's using the WiFi, sipping a hot chocolate as he decides which poster to he should attempt to slander as he races towards godhood in the celestial Shady Acres.

Well, I did my part and sacrificed an unblemished goat. I must have used the wrong marinade though.
