I am hoping that Porter and Mercury do not further fan the flames.
On the news it said that area LDS Churchs have opened their doors as rescue shelters. I imagine other Churches are doing the same.

They have, but on the evacuation map it refers to the "Latter-Day Saints Church", not the "Church of Jesus Christ".

And I'm sure before they decided to do so they sent out a press release stating they were followed by a local press push to document their efforts.

I sincerely hope you and your family (and neighbors) are safe. You are in my thoughts.
And to those who have family (such as I) that are currently battling the fires, your loved ones are also in my thoughts, and in my family’s prayers, for whatever that may be worth.
